Volkl Sanouk: Alpine or Pin bindings

It has been a long time since I last owned Sanouks. I bought my last pair from PTEX when he was still involved with Volkl. I just came across another pair, and am thinking about using them as my Alta inbounds skin to goods ski (backside of Catherine's, The Castle, etc.). I remember them being soft and sort of light. I'm trying to decide whether I should mount them with ION's or alpine bindings, and use my Rustler/Sheeva 11 as my Alta skin ski.

Once or twice: seems to be best in 10cm of snow. That way the turn is based on a pivot and flex. Fun ski and fun experiment, but mostly not practical
