^^^wow, that would be brutal...got your money's worth. Did they reopen beer sales?

Excited the Padres played well last night, hopefully do same tonight. No ESPN for me, so just got to watch recap, looked like a good game.

    OFFICIAL MLB 2022 THREAD

So I’ll admit I’ve been busy, fixed income markets are a mess, paying less attention in general.

I knew Edwin Diaz was lights out and I want him on the Red Sox next season. I had never heard his entrance music. It’s so fucking electric, I love it. I could listen to it on loop like the Zoolander trance music.

So we left once Springer and Bo were laying deceased on the field and the game was tied.

We did get to see the biggest playoff collapse in 119 years, so there’s something! Apparently you need a bullpen to win a baseball game. Who knew.

Still had fun, long-ass game, go Mets/Mariners, and us Toronto sports fans are used to this feeling so don’t feel too bad for us.

Just as I predicted earlier in this thread based on his playoffs with Dodgers...

Game 3, take it to extras Mets/Pads
    Blow up all the bullpen

    Let's hear Narco in the 10th, 11th, and 12th

Has anyone checked the Cleveland dunk tank for BMills?

Come to think of it, I haven’t heard from ANYONE I know that was at the game. They might have had to use FirstEnergy as the drunk tank to hold everyone.

They just never opened the gates to let people out of the stadium. “What’s the point? We’ll just have to arrest them all again anyway”

My son picked out an “October Rising” t-shirt in the 6th. It went from a solid purchase to a joke in about 75 minutes.

Totally rooting for the Mariners and Guardians now. Knock off the big boys and let’s go.

Forgot to share this yesterday. Look who showed up to the ballpark at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario!

That’s got to be a good sign for the Yanks coming to town, right?

I had a last minute opportunity to head down yesterday, 15 rows above right centre field. I was mostly taking video of the hyped fans but got some garbage photos.

First two thirds of the game were a blast. I have never sat before in the 200's, let alone the 100's and the crowd was just bonkers off the charts level 10 party mode before the game even started.

I agree we need to improve all aspects of our pitching, but imo the game was lost by Schneider pulling Gausman when he did, for Mayza. Instant nose dive. Yeah Gausman was getting shaky but he was working through it.

And if Bo can stop ramming into people as well that'd be great.

Are these crazy post series celebrations normal in baseball? Watching the phillies whoop it up like they won the world series...a stupid fucking look imo....when there's a bunch more games to play.
