    whether they will or not get that many chances, chapman is not going to bump barlow out of the 9th. i don’t think he will pitch the 8th either, so my guess is he throws a tantrum and is cut or is injured by july. best case for kc is that he pitches lights out and they get to flip him at the deadline,
    which is a nice gamble for 4M. Or it would be except he’s cooked.

    i won’t miss him, that’s for sure.

    Or, and here me out, he finds inspiration in Trevor Bauer‘s last appearance at Kauffman Stadium and chucks his first ball over the outfield wall just for fun and goes on to a completely mediocre career for the duration of his contract

    I think what might hurt Bauer is that it doesn’t seem like anybody on his teams like him. So there’s more than just the bad PR aspect of it.

    He had some close buddies on the Indians, er, Guardos, Shane Beiber and Mike Clevinger among them. Even Jose Ramirez kidded around with him. But yeah, he has a real talent for being a dick to a lot of people.
