I had the crotch split on my futurelight that were a bit ripstop textured. Sent them in over the summer and got a $650 gift card for a new pair. Went for the summit series goretex bibs and like them so far. Only two days in them but the pockets are neat.

Same! The north face warranty is great. I would prefer a gore tex 3l in nylon vs their polyester but for an exchange it’s good.

After digging around I am about to pull the trigger on the Stash Bib from Flylow. https://flylowgear.com/collections/m...48577168638145 Seems like a new product this year, but fits all the boxes I am looking for. Will report back unless I decide against at the last second.

These look really interesting and tick all the boxes I look for. Will be watching these during their spring sale!

I’ve washed waterproof stuff before and done the recoating with DWR. It’s never as good as the original. You can get away with not washing outerwear in Colorado cause everything dries in five minutes. So here we are, five years later and nobody will sit next to me on a chairlift.

You think that you can get away with it in Colorado, but trust me your membrane is getting clogged with all sorts of stuff from sweat vapor. And the DWR gets refreshed by dryer heat. The new DWRs aren’t as durable as the days the bad for your health/ environment that the PFAS stuff was. Get used to recoating.
