oooohhhh! Z-Bends! My fave. Where's Gorton?

To all you PNW long boarders, I have a few pairs of LBD legit stix I'm looking to offload. Don't feel like taking pics and all that, but if you need a pair swing on by, have a look and make me an offer I can't refuse. Hookers, blow, booze, crypto, whatevs.

Have fun maggots! I did a helicopter on 215s on a dare back in the day. Last skied 204s in 2015. No longer have anything over 195cm in the active quiver.. but earlier this century these got some action..

Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

I just waxed my 210cm Dynastar course GS chicken heart skis today. Figured if it's not going to snow, might as well mess around on weird skis on the groomers.

Those super force 9s look like mine that were stolen from outside the timbermill in snowmass after MardiGras circa 1996. ‘Course, I drank in the bar till 9 or 10 pm so not like I can nail down the timing

Didn't the LBD "rules" get relaxed awhile ago due to shortage of old 210+ skis in garage sales, Goodwill, etc.?

Rules have not changed. However, I am not a schoolmarm and will not be measuring skirts.

As our goal is to open minds and give people new experiences, a healthy collection of loaners are usually available.

Oft, I hope we will see you at Alpy, but I'll ping you about the 210s. I need some that aren't mounted tele...

He's talking about this, from the OP of last year's thread.

Well, Greydon being a schoolmarm or not I am of the position that there are plenty of 210's out there, including 4-5 pairs in my basement I'm prepared to part with cheap or free. So if scarcity is the bar, it prolly shouldn't come into play until existing supplies have truly been exhausted. 210s are different than 200's.

Not sure why I actually give a fuck.

Greydon, you have my #!!! Be great to see you.

I can help you with that, and they can be your very own! Never borrow for LBD again!

For the un-initiated, the new to scene, or the Captains of obliviousness, the premise of LBD is simple. Find, borrow, or steal yourself a pair of classic, old school skis. The ROOLz used to state that for men, that was 210+, ladies 200cm+, but given the paucity of 210+ skis still floating around in garages and thrift shops, the executive committee has elected to move the bar and lower that threshold to >200cm nen and >190cm for the ladies. No your 202 Lotus 138s do not qualify.

Make no mistake, the longer the better, and as every year there will be plenty of spares as me and my fellow lot 4 degenerates all own multiple pairs, many with demo binders. So don't let the lack of gear be your cop-out reason for not joining the fray.
whoa whoa whoa there mr longboard father......dont go throwing this guy under the bus for unilaterally changing da roolz.

Sentiment last year is as it is now, moar participation is moar better! meaning if all you got is some 205s or 207s rock whatcha got and show up. But if you can procure some TRUE longboards by beggin, borrowin, or stealin..........This is the WAY.

I'm glad we've come to an agreement. Next action item, getting the Alpental's emeritus mayor out of the Panhandle and back to Lot 4.
