I don’t get what hard mode is all about.
Also, I start with a new word every time. 🤷♂️

Hard mode makes you use the information you’ve already learned in any subsequent guesses. So, if you have a green letter, all future guesses have to use that letter, in that spot. If you have a yellow letter, you need to use it in subsequent guesses, but can put it anywhere.
Makes it a bit harder to uncover new letters, and limits your guess possibilities (which can actually help you get to the correct word, but makes finding a word to actually guess harder).
I have a feeling the average user will get tired of playing after at most 6 months, once they get the algorithm worked out. But at least figure out the algorithm yourself, not on google.
I definitely didn’t Google it, just stumbled on it on tik tok. Hookers and blow unfortunately don’t have the right amount of letters
Stop posting your results on social media. Nobody, and I mean nobody, gives a fuck. Yes, I’m yelling at a cloud.
it would make more sense turned over, as New Hampshire
Or sideways as Oklahoma. Except Oklahoma isn't green.
Until wordle recognizes SHART as a word I’m not playing
It recognizes FARTS, which is my opener.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.
Why would you try to figure out the algorithm? Either you want to solve a puzzle and challenge yourself and waste some time or you just don't play. I'm sure some people want to see the algorithm out of curiosity, which is fine, engineer-types are weird anyways - but the ones who are trying to find the secret to the game are idiots.

Having an opener with only one vowel.![]()
Paging Ogre.....Would the alias Ogre please report to the wordle thread? - Thank You.
By algorithm I mean a system that gets you the word every time. Play for months and I think it would be hard for someone not to have figured out a system whether they're trying to or not. I suppose you could challenge yourself by changing starting words--maybe start with words with 10 point scrabble letters and y as the only vowel.
I aparently only get fives now.![]()
