Does anyone have experience with LL Bean goretex shells? I’m looking at this one (3 layer goretex) and wondering if it would work well for a shell for inbounds skiing:

Medium tall size is compelling on it's own for me
Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
Cletus: Duly noted.
looks like a shite zipper
Not to hijack the OP’s thread, but if you’re needing medium tall, could also check out Eddie Bauer

Is the LL Bean shell a more of a rain jacket than ski jacket?
rain jacket.
one-way zip.
Wait, my Helly Hansen ski jacket isn’t actually a ski jacket because it has a one-way zipper?
The product description specifically mentions skiing, and snow, so they obviously don’t consider it to be a rain jacket. However it does seem to be more of a general purpose jacket, not ski specific.
Yep, their stuff is fine. If it fits it'll be great for you.
The cuts can be American in their sizing. Meaning if you take a L or XL and don’t have a big belly might feel a bit boxy
