WTF Is Up With Commencal Skis

In years past Commencal had teamed up with Faction for some custom top sheets and bases on their standard models. However, when looking at their website today I noticed a totally different lineup, with some...interesting... skis.

Overall has the potential to be some descent value as well, considering that right now they're going for ~$450 for a new set of skis. One thing I did notice, was how light all the claimed weights are, which would be great for a touring ski but potentially terrible for a resort ski.

So what's up with these? I would expect that these again are rebranded but from who?

It's funny that commencal bikes are all tanks, but all of their skis are super light.
