FTR, do not ever do this on any binding. Backing toe screws out, regluing and retightening as mentioned can buy a mm or two at the heel on a misaligned mount, but don't compromise the screw interface, especially on lightweight bindings.
This. It's a great reminder for bootfitters not to use shortcuts, like throwing a whole boot in an oven to preheat it for a single punch. Like Lindahl said with light boots it's even more important to shield the boot while heating and spot punch precisely. And especially with tech inserts, since metal hardware heats up so much faster than the plastic around it.
