That event is always awesome. Also saw it live, was bummed this years world cup only had events during the day (or at least that was my impression when I looked).

Trace and Hannah's comment during the event last night was perfect 'only competitor to throw a double in competition, not that we'll see that today, as it's still illegal to throw doubles in a competition." Reminds me of when I was competing in the late 90s and someone threw a backflip off the bottom air and the head judge ran down and ripped off the dudes jersey in the finish area. The FIS's rules really hamper progression on the sport.

Stoked there are some bump fans in here. The kiddo is way into it, and has ended up in a few duals with Cole McDonald and Nick Page at few Intermountain Comps. My kid was 11 and they were 16-17ish.... they both couldn't have been nicer to the little dude trying his best!! As far as a Junior program goes, I don't think it gets more fun and supportive than Sunday duals day. 11 year olds line up against future olympians and they hug/high five after every run.

Anyhow, looking forward to tomorrows additional qualifications. Hopefully Kai Owens is OK after her crash and it's only a black eye. She missed day one of Qualifications due to the crahs, but can still ski in the second round.

Looked pretty nasty. I'd be surprised if concussion protocol allows her to ski in the last chance qualification round.. I hope she does get to ski but understand if they say she can't go..

I recorded the bump skiing sessions and watched them this morning. They showed her with one eye completely swollen shut. OUCH!
