Does anyone know when Meadows typically closes for the season? I'm looking at their Spring pass and want to make sure I can get enough days versus just buying day tickets. Can't use it until March 21st...

They have it on their website and also show when they change from full week operations to fri to sun. You have to dig for it but it is just n a calendar that they put up.

Doesn't Outback and NWE close for spring?
Did they run CC thru closing?

I wouldn't even try and guess what powdr corp has planned for Spring ops.

In the past if there is enough snow they leave NWE open and close outback since you can get to all the outback terrain using NWE. Then towards the last 3 weeks of the season or so they close NWE. Honestly the trees are usually not the beat late season. I like to find sunny days in the spring and get laps off summit.

How much is Meadows going to suck tomorrow? Looks like they're getting rain today followed by an overnight freeze and less than an inch of new snow. Will they groom tomorrow morning so we're riding ice shavings, overnight so we're riding frozen corrugated, or a mix? I'm off work tomorrow, but thinking it may be too crappy to go up.

It's going to be so gloopy that they wont be able to get everything groomed within the proper temps.

We were up 2 Saturday's ago with those same conditions. After a dozen runs all my filling were loose

Bring those 72mm slalom race skis!

I would not buy a lift ticket to ski tomorrow. Hope you have a pass and you can just cut bait if it's not worth it after a few runs.

No pass, I really thought I was going to be living somewhere else by now [eyeroll]. But yeah, I'm going to pass on tomorrow, spring passes are just around the corner anyway.

Huh, I went to purchase tickets to find that, then found their hours of operations show daily thru April, odd

Geologically correct. Broken Chair Butte. Todays reported 5" of new was shy and had a firm base underneath. Even though it was nice to have a refresh. As a Senior Intermediate Recreational Skier it was taxing on the legs. Friday is Pridefest at the Butte, just say'n.

Weird for sure. I only looked at the hours of operation calendar. It definitely doesn't match the ticket purchase calendar.

Edit: Hours of opperation calendar is the correct one. Ticket sales had not been added for the missing days.
