Along the lines of "god kills a kitten every time you masturbate," I've always held the belief that Ullr sees you riding your bikes in winter and kills the snowfall.

Real nice Spring day @ the Butte. I think I got a little tan. Beers & buds it was sweet.

Any suggestions for most trusty base grind and edge tuning shop in Portland?

    Shouldn't matter, but I'm a knuckle dragger...

Interested as well. Everyday skis are killing it in Febuly with a morning yellow rub, but if Ullr decides to favor us, I'm going to need a new structure.

Next Adventure in Sandy apparently has some insane grinding and tuning machinery that they push. Don't really want to drive that far our though. https://www.nextadventure.net/tune-shop

I might check out Evo here locally unless someone comes up with a recommendation. I've heard of some shops (mainly resorts) really doing a disservice so would prefer to find a place that knows what's up.

evo does a great job and Shad who runs their shop is awesome. If you can get a hold of greg(not sure if he is still running the shop at Doug's in Hood River)https://www.bootsandmore.com he is easily the best ski tuner around.

+1 for Greg Coulter. Runs a shop out of his house in Troutdale.

    Correct url is:
    https://www.bootsandmore.ski/

Does boot work @ Doug’s in HR but doesn’t do much of the tuning work @ Doug’s

With Mammoth pushing 50 days since the last snow, the GF and I are trying to make the best of things and at the last moment decided to head North and enjoy the spring skiing conditions this week.

Always love this view as you come around the corner. Bachelor is a super aesthetic mountain.

At 2:00 pm I headed West off the summit and found a full blown corn cycle in effect. Not sure where I was but nobody was around and sections of it were really good.

    Bend sunset this evening.
Good skiing the last two days. Conditions are very similar to Mammoth and Tahoe right now. Back out again tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up. I am consigning a pair of my gf's barely used Blizzards with him. As soon as I hear back.

    Nuclear heat on the hill,50f.
However, the base never went Defcon 3. Stayed somewhat firm for bachelor and held an edge, anyway for an Intermediate recreational skier.

For Valentines Day we are going to spend the weekend reviving pair ski ballet. Gonna try some of Budman and Budlite's moves.

It's tricky because even our smallest skis are still fairly long
