Wolves are already here and it’s even legal to hunt them. (although I personally would not)
Dogs can swim so wolves can too. Or if it is a non-swimming wolf, just wait until winter and walk across the ice.

Congrats! I'm looking towards that area for retirement.
Where are you actually living right now though?
Do you have any dwarfish friends?

How far from Eagle River? I would come and fish for a few days. Have a fishing boat and way too much fishing equipment.
Congrats, man! Looks serene. Perfect place to check out from society for a bit.
That's sweet! Dang I'll be passing through close by next week. Unfortunately not a good trip and on time crunch otherwise I'd bring my saw and help ya clear some space. You got musky?

Cool...my parents cabin is near Cumberland, WI.....caught a couple of small mouths out of the canoe on the Namakogan this August...summer in Wisconsin is tough competition to summers and rivers in the West unfortunately....good problem to have.....Cheers, Chet
Similar story. I had been on bigger airplanes, but the first time I was ever in a single engine airplane was my great uncle's tail dragger, flying off the Three Lakes grass strip.
The caravan on amphib floats is an abomination.
This is what you want

What is that? Was going to guess DeHavilland but not sure Beavers were offered as turboprops and it doesn't look big enough to be an Otter.
Oh yeah. Turboprop Beavers are a thing.

Heh. Nice. Well, not at the time.
It helps when your brother in law knows the police officer....
I've been fortunate that I've grown up with our family having a cottage on an acre Island that's in the middle of nowhere. I totally agree that there's something romantic about having your own island. It feels just a little bit more lawless.
Nobody can hear you scream on a private island. Wait, what?
I have a friend that owns an island in the mountains. She keeps horses on it.
Harry, have you ever taken a moment to consider the benefits of fractional horse ownership?
But where would he plug it in?
They're all original DHC-2 Beavers, but mine and tortoise's have the PT6 powerplant conversion, and are amphibious, aka "on amphibs" i.e. floats with retractable wheels - which I think would come in handy flying down to the big smoke cities.
Abraham's is a really ambitious and cool project.
