I have a Lexus CT 200h that I really love. It's basically a faster Prius with nicer trim. I can get 50+ mpg too which is pretty rad!

I have one of the new BRZs on order, pretty excited as I've been on minivan duty the past 5 years.
Don’t have it anymore but did have an Eagle Talon TSI AWD tirbo that was ratted out and produced roughly 400rwhp that was fun as shit to drive. Kept it all stock on the outside, thing would destroy ‘vets and such. Man I miss that car.
We still have an MKVI Golf R my wife took over from me. It's a full on tank in snow until you bottom it out. 120k and not an issue yet.
I’ve had good run of small, fun, 3 pedal cars: ‘04 Acura RSX Type S, ‘05 Mazda 3 2.5 hatch, ‘11 Jetta 2.5 wagon and most recently, a ‘15 VW GTI.
I really miss my GTI; it was the perfect daily driver. I drove it to Jackson Hole and back a few summers ago and did a bunch of mountain biking along the way. Such a fun road trip car.
I plan on a getting another fun car soon. Maybe a MK7 Golf R or some sort of stick shift BMW if used car prices ever come down.

It was a piece of shit, but fun to drive as a teenager. And not enough power to really get into too much trouble.
And goddam was it a TINY car.

In high school I had a Mustard yellow ‘78 Volvo 240 with brown corduroy seats, bald tires and a jerry rigged exhaust that had more holes than a flute.
I was drifting before drifting was cool, but mostly on wet days and not always intentionally.
Honorable mention to an 83 320i and an 84 Saab 900 turbo that came and went through the family at one point or another.
I'm a fan for sure. No manual transmission, but there is a "sport" mode that gives a lot more noticeable acceleration. I almost always roll in the "eco" mode for better mileage.
There is the F-sport model that may be a bit more fun than mine. But fuel efficiency was a primary objective for me, so seemed like going for the sport model would me antithetical. I can go pretty dang far for a $30ish fill.
FWIW, I've had it a year and have done zero to it besides change the oil. I cringe at the thought of BMW, Audi, etc. maintenance costs.
Damn, m27!!! How many Trackers you got?
Also, how much UC you got? Asking for some friends.
I still call it The Jake.
Never owned a little car…but when I worked at A Jaguar/Land Rover dealer, we’d get some awesome little cars in on trade that i’d get to do the used car inspections on. Having owned g-body cutlasses and regals, an Astro van, a series 1 discovery and a jeep cherokee up to that point, those cars were a different world and so fun. Couple of fun country roads near the dealership to rip around on and the interstate was close too. Some of my sampling’s:
A couple Porsche boxsters (super fun and affordable)
A Mini Cooper s (holy shit what surprise)
The bmw clown shoe (tiny Viper)
95 Supra (hell yea)
92 300zx twin turbo (amazing)
93 NSX (thought I was gonna get fired for those “test” drives) put close to 200 miles on that thing lol

That Tracker needs to be lifted and fitted with swampers!
My kid just sold his 2012 Golf R MKVI with 115K on it for ~$16K, used car market is insane right now. He took the seats out and installed a roll bar and lowered non-reclining racing seats with 5 point harnesses, so it was not a comfortable car for road tripping, but it was dangerously fast. He rope-a-doped me on the Golf (I didn't realize it was an R) after I refused to help him get a WRX STI because of the insurance he needed for it.
In hindsight maybe the worst parenting move I made was giving him a day at Dirtfish Rally School for his 18 bday.
Move upside and let the man go through...
