If a small town is possible, Bellingham would be interesting. Not far from Mt Baker and access to all the San Juan and Gulf Islands. Might be worth talking to the yacht club.
If you aren't aware of Mt Baker it holds the record for ski area snowfall.

My college sailing coach moved to Bellingham recently. He only has good things to say about it. I’ll take another look. Would be fun to be that close to the Whistler bike park, rumor is the WBP is pretty fun [emoji6]

Baker is supposedly great, albeit a bit of a drive.

Great mountain biking.

Wasn't a job opening when we visited. Pay rate wasn't great for my line of work there either.

Canuckistan very close. Much excite.

Would be a great place to live.
