Was in Costco a couple of days ago and saw that. That is a great deal. I was a commercial fisherman and I could not match that price. Was nice to see Alaska salmon looking better than the farmed at the same price. Definitely a good time to stock up.

Do you go there at lunch for the free samples? The Costco Chef's tasting menu.

You need a cart with one of these when they're serving samples:

Maybe this should go in the shit that annoys you thread. But, is Costco.
My dogs have always loved the Kirkland dog bones. A little while ago they were out of stock for an extended period.
When they returned, they were in a new box. Same formula, same taste, but a new shape.
Finnegan accepted the change, although Vita-Bones became his favorite.
We were surprised when visiting our kids in Washington to find she had the old style, skinny biscuits! Finnegan was ecstatic. We brought a couple of boxes.
Given the choice of old and new - he eats the skinny ones and leaves the new fatter ones laying there, next to the Vita-Bones, while demanding more skinny ones.
The box may say that they are the same, but Finnegan disagrees emphatically.

So I find that the old skinnys are available in Washington, Oregon, Nevada - everywhere surrounding California. WTF.

USPS will be the cheapest at $23.15 to get a box here from Washington.
My lady offered to drive up and get a few boxes in Reno. That would cost considerably more…

    Damn, he is spoiled.

I think it’s time for a survey of available local sources.

If I remember correctly, the .97 and the * in the upper right, mean a discontinued product. So yes, probably a very good deal.

Considering I’m sitting on the high end of the nicely stoned category right now, I want that new food court double chocolate chip cookie.

    Just joined Costco last month.

These Grizzly Mountain cotton jacket flannels are amazing. $25.

I feel like a fool paying five times as much for a brand name item that isn’t as warm and comfortable. Click image for larger version.

I can attest that it is! I prefer jungle rum over island rum. I found it better than my normal go-to sipper Diplomatico Reserva. For a 1/3 the price.

Yep. I like it more than Diplomatico. Need to compare head to head with Aniversario - my other go to rum.

Cholula hot sauce and contact solution. With a prediction of 4-8" of snow in Portland, Costco was packed like Armageddon was coming

I picked up a merino base-layer top for $20; really nothing wrong with it as far as I can tell, and that's about a quarter of what I paid for the Icebreaker leggings that I just skied in today.

They also have some "tech pants", stretchy nylon or whatever, for $7 (price ends in .00, so it may just be a local special here in Ogden, I don't know). A little too short for me in my waist size, and also, uh, dorky looking, but hey, $7, for something that my younger dirtbag self could have used as softshell ski pants (I literally did ski in polyester Pantella dress pants, from a thrift store, sometimes back then, shameless I was, but it worked). No, I didn't buy the $7 pants.
