Steak at Costco always seems like a ripoff to me. I find better deals at the grocery store.

I’ve never seen prime cheaper than at Costco. Even when they occasionally have individual steaks

Anyone ever bought appliances at Costco ?

When mine go I thot it would be whatever i could find cheap at Home Depot but I happened to be at a Costco and noticed the prices for name brand DW & washer dryers look pretty good. Since there are limited places for shopping in small town now I got another source and I took some pictures

I’ve never bought from there but their return policy and the fact they have name brands, I wouldn’t worry about it if they have what you want.

free install and haul away, but biggest plus is they double the manufactures warranty.

Limited options is the only downside, otherwise appliances from Costco, especially when on sale, are a no-brainer.

We bought a range from them last year on sale. Free haul away and install was a nice perk. No issues so far.

I always look at Costco first when making a large purchase like an appliance or TV. Usually 10-20% less than HD or BB. Free delivery and install. Good return policy, etc….

Costco is 4 hrs away so I don't think there is free instal or takaway, i would be thro'ing it in the PU to get home and dumping the old one at the telkwa mall

I am kind of minimalist so I was OK with the models they had in stock, mainly looking for availability and good price

With the exception of the Hot Dog Combo, I never expect to find screamin deals at Costco. That’s not the point. The point is that they don’t sell garbage, and the prices are solid. Which means if I want to just buy it and not fuck around, Costco FTW.

That and the moderate prices for bulk.

I rarely buy food at Costco. Maybe cheese or sausage.

The salmon fillets are pretty dope.

But recently I got tortillas. Can’t remember the brand, whatever, 40 burrito style tortillas for 10 bucks.

    Dude.

A buddy worked at costco, he had good wages/ good medical & dental but and some things he mentioned where they wasted money big time a lot of it cuz decisions were made at head office

fruit that got shipped in mutliple pallet loads and thrown out, same with baked goods that nobody in town wanted to eat so they hired a local baker but then don't listen to him

and the bikes people just wreck them on purpose and return

Forgot to link the article but anyway guess people are pulling a Netflix and giving their card to family/friends for cheaper shopping. Good ole inflation being blamed. No 5 gallons of mayonnaise for you!

Good ol profiling in my experience. I used to get the picture check all the time when I was in college. Now as your typical 30-something professional at the suburbia Costco, I've never seen it checked.

Oldish bald guy in cargo shorts and dad shoes, they were totally out to get me.

Today was the very first time anyone has ever checked. I had always wondered why they bothered to put my picture on it because it’s never been checked before. Well now I know.

It’s not the greatest espresso, but it’s surprisingly decent and the convenience of it is fantastic.
If you’re still rocking the Nespresso, I’ve found that Starbucks Blond Nespresso Pods from Costco are the best deal going. And they taste better than any other S’bucks crap and just about as good as most Nespresso stuff. Free shipping, no minimum purchase.
