The entire league was doing or looking the other way. It’s part of the game. Always has been, always will be. If you’re not cheating, you’re not trying. Sucks but that’s the truth. So anyone on their high horse about integrity of the game, needs to take a pommel in the nuts

They were actually talking about that MVP vote yesterday on sportstalk in connection with all the bullshit morality voters for the HoF. The only reason Albert didn't win that MVP was because he was a complete and total dick to the writers. That's it.



Those 90's Tribe teams were so much damn fun. Every spot in the lineup was a HR threat and every starter was nails. 455 straight sellouts at the Jake too made it a total party. Ah, the good ol days.

Funny enough, Mo Vaughn is now a partner with the Indians and they can't get Albert back to retire his jersey because he's (a) still a raging asshole, and (b) pissed he didn't get a statute like Thome did.

I think players who used PEDs in that era should get a pass since it was so rampant.

I get that numbers are inflated a bit, but Manny, Bonds, McGwyer et al were still the nest of their era.

I think the white players of the pre-integration league had a bigger advantage with many of the beat players in the Negro League instead. MFers hitting AAA pitching with Satchel Page out there.
