Kershaw is lifetime 22-7 with a sub 2 ERA and more than 280 strikeouts against the Padres

Wish they could surround this staff with some consistent run production.

I think the Yankees hitting coach needs to have the boys do some 2 strike hitting drills/adjustments .....way too many strikeouts for guys with this much athletic ability....

I know it’s the analytics to have these guys swing out their asses....but can’t he get these guys to at least adjust their swings with 2 strikes.....put the ball in play a bit. Yanks look like crap.

I went to the Mariners-Astros game yesterday. Beautiful sunny day in Seattle and a Mariners wins over the cheaters. That was my first in-person MLB game since May 2019. Interesting to be in a sellout crowd with only 9,000 fans!

I haven’t been paying attention to baseball yet. Still a little miffed that we no longer have the best young outfield patrolling Fenway Park. Not even one of them.

That’s a start but they’re playing just about every aspect of the game poorly right now. Defense has been atrocious, base running blunders, and some less than desirable pitching (though I’m the least worried about the pitching). They need a serious shot of life and/or kick in the ass. Voit brings a lot to the clubhouse that they’re badly missing without him.
