Does anyone have any experience with these? I have a set of pomoca skins that the glue has gotten pretty sketchy on...
The pomoca and BD glue kits seem to be out of stock most places.

I would definitely avoid putting G3 glue on anything intentionally.
I did the glue renew the other day... Kind of a pain in the ass but not too bad... I've toured on them probably five times since with no issues.
Finding BD glue online was tough. I had to call 4 local shops (including 2 "touring" shops) before finding anyone that stocked it.
But scraping G3 glue off and putting BD Gold Label on has been best thing that's ever happened associated with G3 Skins.
sheet glue costs way more $ so try and find the tubes of goldlabel , an extra unopened tube lasts forever in yer spares so if you find it order 2 tubes, use sheets of G3 if you have to, either way you gotta heat the glue in so its not that different

Got it.
I have not used G3 glue in 5+ years but I remember it being bad... I’ll stick with that assumption and try to find some Gold Label.

Skin glue is pretty nasty when off-gassing so I tack the skins down to a 16" plywood off-cut to work on and then i can put the board with skins outside overnight
also if you are using parchment to heat the glue in it also comes off easier in the cold

Funny part about why I didn't get it done this Summer/Fall is that I put off a woodworking project which would have netted me a "scrap" piece for exactly this purpose. Oh well, that re-glue job is for some skins that I'm gonna cut down for some narrow Spring skis, so there's time.
While I like the Pomoca/Contour/Coltex mo-mix for Winter, I'm thinking that a return to nylon skins for narrower Spring skis might actually be a good thing for refrozen Spring mornings ... maybe not.
