Inquiring minds want to know. And they're called trainers over there, not sneakers.

The English contingent has pretty much disappeared in recent years, it doesn't matter much what he calls them.

Ha I’m not after first gen Jordans or the latest Yeezy foam abominations. Just had a company fuck me over on a pair of trail runners and now my world isn’t right - the only place I can find another pair like this is Australia or UK via companies that won’t ship international.

It’s a first world problem. I should just drop it, use the old ones I have, and donate the money to Ukraine….

My Mother in law wears those exclusively. So I can only see them as orthopedic shoes for the arthritic 😆

But I get that they have a loyal following amongst athletic people.

Just joined the Hoka club after discovering that Sacouny for some reason decided that they needed to replace the foam in the Guide with a rock. Wtf.

^ They both look like Lukas Nelson, which can only mean Crazy Carl and Cody Townsend are descended from Willy Nelson.

    This theory makes sense

The one I liked back in the day--Jimmy Connors, Pete Rose, and Mary Lou Retton are all the same person. For those of you too young to understand--all 3 looked like someone dropped an anvil on their heads and squashed their faces.

This. I too retired Sauconys for the Hokas.
Kept the Sauconys for lawn mowing. Put them on today for a little work in the yard and promptly took em back off and tossed em in the garbage. Their quality went to shit.

    Start a new thread.
If we can get a bunch of mags chiming in about someone moving to Singapore, I gotta think the UK is worth probing deeper.

Another food question. Anybody else seeing a trend to put coleslaw in tacos? I’ve never seen this west of Misstake and I was wondering if it’s become a thing or just southerns fucking up a good thing.

One of my local Mexican joints puts a “jalapeño coleslaw” in their beef burritos. It tastes amazing. The burritos cost 2x more than my normal closer joint yet I still often pay the premium.

A taproom in Bozeman did that. I asked for new tacos with lettuce. Never heard of this until a few weeks ago.

What kind of slaw? I sometimes like red cabbage with a bit of sour cream and a can of chipotles.

My local joint does a korean bbq taco with a slaw on it.

For trad mex, I've only seen some shredded cabbage.

A step up from what you can get at the Winn-Dixie deli.
It’s a place by the airport next to Chili’s so I shouldn’t expect much.
The good place in town is behind a gas station and looks like this.
