Or being in it. Fortunately if you're in it, a good Renault will randomly scare the bejebus out of you as you turn onto some onramp with honest to goodness front wheel drive (!) trailing throttle oversteer. That way you'll know better than to try to break off that peg at the 85 mph point of the speedometer. This is a very effective safety measure and the Renault engineers should be applauded for their combined technical prowess and creative problem solving.

Then again, if you do get passed by one it should trigger a moment of serious self-reflection and possibly a visit to the "trip" report thread.

We use these at the wife's insistence. They do work well at catching.

Have a cat but hes old, fat, lazy, and well fed. Not worth his effort.

My argument is always about where we release them, as I'm convinced they just come back.

We have comprised to bringing them to the wooded area across the street.

I'm still not confident we don't catch the same fuckers more than once.

Need to start tagging them somehow.

When my sister and I used to catch painted turtles as kids we'd keep em as pets for a week or two and then release.

She always wrote their names on the shells in nail polish so we'd know if we caught the same one again that year, but turtles shed their scales so there was no long term damage afaik.

I need a "humane" mouse tagging equivalent. Feel like if I swiped them with nail polish or a quick spray from a rattle can it would likely be detrimental

I just saw the fucker. He bolted out of the pantry a second ago and I ran after him. Thought he was trapped when he ran into the powder room but then I remembered that I haven’t plugged some plumbing holes in the floor from when I yanked a claw foot out of there. He zipped right down there. Apparently he pigs out during the day and then retires to the warm underbelly of my house for the night, likely pissing in my new insulation.

Sleep well mouse, Amazon delivers soon.

    No shit.

    I caught a pack rat in a hav-a-
heart live trap once. I threw it in the lake and drown the little fucker.

A good cutter is the best option, but pricey if you're only dealing with a small number of skis. I thought they were seriously overpriced until I used one for a whole bunch of skis this year, and now I want one of the good ones (but I'll just use one at work for the time being).

I prefer a cheap cutter to a panzer file, particularly as I'm not great at maintaining an angle without a guide and I'd need another file guide for the panzer to get consistent results.

When can we go back to making fun of Butters? He had to put his cat down last week, so out of respect I think most people including myself have been laying low.

But he just mounted Markers to some Pro Riders in the View Right Now thread.

I guess this is a good place for this question. How in the hell can the Rutgers hoops team lose to Lafayette and then beat #1 Purdue?

Not that anyone is following this, but an update. The no kill traps got her first so they were deployed. And holy shit I am catching these things left and right. Works like a charm. My wife is so happy that we arent killing the vermin that the kill traps will just be used by me in the garage where she has no dominion or knowledge, rather than in the pantry where I can paint the walls with mouse brain.

So now she has me driving a few miles for each mouse to let it out into the wild. I've been an uber for mice for two days. See you in the shit that annoys your thread.

    That's an impressive rodent house.

When I was 3yo I killed one of the pre-school mice. I don't remember the episode. I grew up in a house with a bad mouse problem. Which is why we got a cat. Anyway, the story goes that the pre-school mice got loose, possibly before I started attending. And they couldn't be found for months. I was playing with blocks on the carpet and one of the mice came up to me. I bonked it on the head with a block.

I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

All the kids are always taking about what's a truck with a short bed good for. Well, Bunion's got him a pretty good example...

Possibly. This happened in 1972. I'm not especially proud of it.
