CVTs don't downshift
Same here. Energizer used to make a rapid charger that would charge a pair in 15-20 min. I still have one that I use all the time, very nice for road trips. If you can find one, it's awesome but I don't think they make them anymore.
Also worth noting is not all the Energizers have the same capacity. Quite often the batteries that come with a charger are much lower like 1400 mAh, but not always. The Energizer batteries you buy alone can be up to 2300 or 2500 mAh.
I’ve been wondering if Lefty dropped the dime on Pancho. Anyone know?
All signs point to yes, but who can really say, Pancho, Lefty and Townes are all dead. The day they laid poor Pancho low. Lefty split for Ohio And where he got the bread to go. Ain't nobody knows.

Yeah, I don't. More just curious how it works.
So there's part of the answer. If it doesn't downshift the cruise control must be braking. I assume that means brake lights go on--anyone actually know? I would think that if the ACC eases off the throttle--when it doesn't need to slow quickly--the CVT would eventually downshift. No?
I guess I could watch the tachometer to see if you're right, but if I'm watching the tach it's hard to text on my phone.
What do you have against CVT. Seems to work fine. Good mileage, no problems.
Again, by definition a CVT has no gears thus can't "downshift." That doesn't mean it can't use engine braking by putting the CVT into a lower setting.
I have a CR-V with a CVT so I'm assuming it works similarly. It absolutely does brake when necessary and I'm sure the brake lights come on when the actual brakes engage. I would assume the programming of the system is such that the brakes are only used when rapid deceleration is required to maximize brake pad life.
I know what CVT is. What's the difference between "downshifting" and "putting the CT into a lower setting"? A CVT and an old style transmission work differently mechanically but both change the ratio between the engine speed and the axle speed, which is what allows engine braking among other things. High engine speed with low axle speed is a low gear, whatever you want to call it.

Sorry, didn't see it, I liked that song better than Mandy, but only a little.

Do you guys pad the seat in public/work shutters? How elaborate do you get?

However many are in a shit ton.
Simple answer: yes
Slightly more complicated answer: there was a recall on that
Longwinded answer: if it's the newer "eyesight" (cameras on both sides of the mirror) version of Subaru's adaptive cruise control, it will prioritize engine braking for fuel economy, and uses the brakes for what it perceives to be threats (getting cut off, high closure rate with an object, etc). When it does apply the brakes, the brake lights do illuminate, and the brake lights on little car between the gauges come on too.
Although the whole time we owned that car, I never saw it even once
I have a 2015 Outback with Eyesight. Most of the time when it slows down while the ACC is on, it is due to engine braking and the brake lights do not come on. If the decel required is more sudden, the brakes are used and the lights do come on. The display on my dash shows the little car with brake lights, too. I've seen it several times.
I remember my Honda really stomping on the brakes once when traffic came to an abrupt stop. The system hit the brakes harder than I would have and I was a bit worried I'd get rear-ended (but didn't).
How does one put 5.2 gallons of propane into a 5 gallon tank? HUGE sticker right on the new tank says it can’t happen. Got it home after the first fill (brand new tank from Costco) and it’s not putting out gas to the grill. It is gurgling audibly and I can smell a little gas leaking from what I assume is the relief valve.
Do I just need to open the bleeder valve and let a bit out to get this sucker to work?
I’ve never run into this before ever.

That’s weird. They all have anti idiot valves to keep us from blowing up.
If you open the tank valve while the burners are on it gets triggered. Too much gas too quick makes it sad. No flow.
Trigger warning.
Close the burners. Slowly open the tank valve.
But yeah. That side screw bleeds off pressure.
They used to do it all the time on fills. Lately. Not so much.
It might help. But put out your smoke first.

But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason
Thanks to you and tamburello.
I've never noticed the brake lights on the car IKON. This car has a lot of different display options and then every year and model and trim level seems to have different displays. I'll have to check that out. Maybe I'm not being observant.
What do the I and the A mean in LGBTQIA?
Also, are they going to leave any of the alphabet for the rest of us?
