Haven’t caught it here. Maybe mid week when this system passes I’ll get a chance if I get a bit of elevation. Agree that about 30min past sunset would probably get the best light.
There was a band from Aus or NZ in 2001 that had a song "It was a Simple Plan." Anyone know the band? No, not Simple Plan from Canada. But that latter band screws up my google search.
I bought the CD in NZ in 2001. Pretty sure it was an aussie band. I thought the band's name was A Simple Plan. But it's been 23 years.

We have a rat or rats in the basement ceiling. I'm pretty sure I know where they're getting in and out of the house. Should I seal it up with spray foam and steel wool, then try to trap them in the basement? Or should I fart around with trying to make some kind of one-way door where they're getting in, so they can leave.
I'm 99% sure their access is under the porch, and I'm going to crawl under there tonight and put a bunch of traps out
Wear a respirator and toss your clothes when you're done. Hantavirus will ruin your ski season.
It was already very difficult to see the day before you posted, on the 19th. Maybe if you live somewhere very rural. Was hoping to see it clearly on the 19th because the moon stayed down for an hour after sunset that night. Was far brighter a week prior, and even a couple days earlier I could spot it with city lights and unfavorable moon. I pointed at it for some folks on the 19th, and they saw it through their binoculars. I'm not an astrologer, but guess it has moved too far from the sun to have much of a tail.
One dead rat, rotting in an inaccessible spot for weeks will have you second guessing your approach.
If you know the entry point then start there by blocking that.
Also, knowing what it is helps with your plan of attack.
I had a feral cat have kittens in an attic once. Fucking loud and vicious lil buggers when it was time to retrieve them.
Rats, god damn I hate them. Anyways, seal up every entry point and then put out the traps. Hopefully you can get the last one standing before it dies and stinks up your home.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.
If the Penn State QB has a $1million DIL deal, how much money does he take in in a month?
Buying me a red and a black Lambo money? Hookers and blow money? Private cook money? Def gotta be why study money.

Opened up my compost bin today and there was a dead rat on top of the heap. I'm assuming it was poisoned.
So, I use the compost to grow vegetables we eat. Started wondering what if it had burrowed and then died, or if I didn't otherwise discover it..
Am I overthinking the possibility of rat poison getting into my food?
Not over thinking, but not enough to kill you.
