I had some honeycrisps right off the tree this fall and they were ridiculous. Some other level of good.

My favorite apple is the Pink Lady, aka Cripps Pink. A little tart. I used to love McIntosh but I don't see them any more. I ate an apple I picked at an orchard once. I agree--no store bought apple can compare. I usually get apples from the farmer's market, almost as good. The thing about apples or any other fruit is that peak ripeness right off the tree is a much narrower window than most of us expect. Most of us give up flavor for the ability to have fruit and berries year round or for many months.
Based on the below, I’m thinking this doesn’t meet the unthreadworthy criteria but yeah honeycrisps are still good. Granny Smith if you’re in that kind of a mood.

Macouns are amazing, I just never see them outside of Maine
You don't see them in Mass.? They grow them locally down here, I see them every year. For years they were my favorite apples but I drank the Honeycrisp koolaid a couple years ago
Crimson Crisp and Cosmic Crisp over Honey Crisp for me. Flavor is comparable but the Crimson and Cosmic have thicker skin that I like. I'm in the Pear capital but plenty of apple orchards around. Fresh off the tree fruit can't be matched.
What does this targeted ad say about me?
What gave it away? It was the mustache wasn’t it.
What is that person wearing?
A strapon to keep his balls from dragging and gravity pellets harvested from the earth's core to replace stenosis laiden bone mass... not specifically from canuckistan

Best way to cut down a composite ski pole? Pipe cutter for copper plumbing pipe or hack saw or other?
Either way, it will splinter some... tape the shite out of it before cutting. If you use the saw, work your way around. Don't try and cut all the way through in one pass. Using the pipe cutter? Make sure it is sharp, or you will have a mess to clean and file.

So what's the secret to inserting images on this forum? I can only get it to work sporadically.
Click on Insert Image icon, click on Choose file, open it, and click Upload File. When it works, the Upload File button sticks around for a second while the file uploads, then the Attach tags appear in the post. But most of the time the Upload File button and popup window disappear immediately and you're left with the same post but no Attach tags.
I’d use a Dremel with a cutting wheel and work your way around. You can tape the area but it’ll likely gum up the wheel. It should cut clean enough you don’t need tape.

Just give up and use Tapatalk. Seriously, the backend of this forum has to be running on Windows XP.
Speaking of uploading media, when it comes to action cam vids, there should be a rule. Unless GoPro sent you their latest camera in a gilded box with a note that says something to the effect of, "The World Needs To See Your Shit." the world doesn't need to see your shit, you look like a beater.
