Interesting question. I got the email from Google. I guess I am thinking nay. I don't really need or want a new tablet. My primary phone is a Moto, not a Pixel, even though I use a 3a for work related stuff. I don't plan to get a pixel watch anytime soon. I have a pretty nifty Lenovo convertible Chromebook that i use in tablet mode when I need to. I have some samsung tablets that my wife steals everytime I get a new one. And I am not compelled to outfit myself in the whole Google range of kit because I increasingly find their stuff to be perpetual beta releases, never really full prime time. That's what the Pixel watch review I read confirmed for me.

Exactly my reason for hesitation. And that maybe google will abandon it prematurely.

I spent 45 minutes finding a parking space within walking distance of Elite Cafe in SF. (Although the rest of my group was still waiting for a table when I got there.) A valet would have been nice. (And I just googled it for laughs--it's closed. I guess people who lived walking distance weren't enough to keep it going. But seriously, too bad great place.)

If they sold it without the dock for $370, it'd make the decision pretty easy because I don't think there's any competition at that price point.

Plus, the "dock" is really only a charger with speakers, and I already have those.

They are a new entry and just becoming available. One thing about Google is they will keep the device upgrading to the newest OS version longer than some others. But at some point, the hardware will mean that it will also get left behind as newer Android versions roll out and need more powerful device.

What screen size do you think you are going to want. I'd read some of the reviews and discussions on the model you are considering for sure before pulling the trigger.

Why not get a pixel/galaxy fold and skip the 2nd device?

I'm not sure that fry cooks can afford Harley's anymore. I think some are like 60k.

School me on food processors. Never had one. They seem to be between $50 and $300. Where is the sweet spot and what to avoid?

Want to chop vegetables and make hummus occasionally.

Had my og cuisinart since 2003. It's still good. I use it every week. That said, the vitamix is better for hummus.

Happy with our cuisinart as well. It had the heavier motor over the comparable kitchenaid.
Funny, my wife loves her vitamix but has never used it over the food processor for humus that I recall.

Same. We have a cuisinart food processor from '08 that's still going strong. Doubt it's changed much over the years.

Four cups or eight cup’s capacity for food processor? Don’t tell me I need a quiver…

I'm still using my Dad's Cuisinart that he ordered from France in 1978.

Cleaning food processors sucks. I'd rather just chop slice dice with a knife and a board if feasible. We have a Cuisinart and a Ninja blender when needed.

Exactly. The food processor is something that really only makes sense for me if I'm making industrial quantities of stuff. Otherwise I use a knife or the blender, depending.

Our Kitchenaid has a small capacity bowl that fits into the main one, and then a smaller blade, to handle smaller jobs.

My wife on the other hand, would rather wash the food processor than use a knife.
