Has anyone in recorded history ever opened a new container of Grillo's pickles without spilling pickle juice everywhere?

I need some linen pants for dinners at Barcelo Maya in the Riviera in 3 weeks or so. Stopped by Nordstrom Rack but they only had shorts currently.
I literally have not purchased new clothes for about a decade minus a few pair of carhardts or Levi’s and the occasional hoody.
    Where should I look?

Amazon (if you know what fits you or order 2 sizes and return the one that does not fit.) L.L. Bean possibly on line though it helps to have their catalog.
What other stores do you have- any Macy's, TJ Maxx, Marshalls? Old Navy, H&M, any Banana Republic store?

If nothing else and want to stand out and looking for something more casual:

Oh wow those are amazing haha. The wife though may not be down with such fashion.

Amazon gets the win with “try before you buy” option. Got 7 days to send em back if I don’t like before the card is charged.

Cubavera is still around I saw. They are actually cheaper on Amazon too. But still too much for pants I’m not likely to wear unless on a beach vacation.

Do pharmaceutical ads actually do anything? Surely somebody actually “asks their doctor about” some drug they saw on TV. Who?
    focus.

I get the impression the "can't tell me what to do" crowd who knows more than medical professionals sees the ad and tells their doctor they need what they saw on tv.

I suppose. Just saw one and was struck by how absurd I’d feel suggesting to my doctor he prescribe me one of the medicines I saw on the TEEvee. But people are absurd and I know that.

If your cardiologist just died of a heart attack should you keep following his advice? Because he did. Just found out a few minutes go.

We had a cardiologist die right after he retired from a massive heart attack. He was one of those really fit, thin guys. Genetics plays a large part in cardiovascular health, lifestyle choices can only accomplish so much.

At least they died doing what they loved?

Lame jokes aside, a former coworker - who's still alive - was like that. Slim, fit, ate healthy, but had two heart attacks. Apparently his dad was the same.

    What does your mechanic drive?

Is anyone on here an estate attorney? I need to talk to my dad about how much he is fucking around and would like to lay everything out because he is never going to bother himself. Unfortunately things will not be so simple that I can use an online template.

A buddy is a former pro bike racer and has been riding 200+ miles/week for pretty much his entire life. Had a heart attack in his 50s (he survived, had to slow down but can still ride). His dad died of a heart attack in his 50s.

It happens way more than we'd like to believe. One of the fittest 50-yo I've ever known randomly died of a cardiac even a few years back.
That stuff occasionally creeps into my mind and terrifies me when my heart rate is pushing 190 on the bike, it makes me slow down real quick...

There was a pretty fit athlete and cyclist in the area. Would win most any time trial he entered in the region and road riding with racing regularly. Cross Country skiing and racing also in the winter, Downhill ski instructor and hiking ... He died of a sudden heart attack at the age of 62.
