    2020/21 Atomic Backland 100 skis 180 cm new with 1 mount $440

    Hi,

Second guessing my BC ski choice....I really don't need a separate BC ski around 100mm....thinking I can consolidate the quiver with a Line Vision 108 or Moment Wildcat 108 Tour, with these MTN bindings. Plus I just bought a new gravel touring bike being delivered in March and may be on that more this spring instead of touring.

    For sale:

2020/21 Atomic Backland 100 skis, 180cm, never skied, 1 mount for Salomon MTN bindings (pictured) at +2cm (approx. -6.5cm?) for a 290mm bsl. They were bought new in October 2020.

    Length: 180cm
    Dimensions: 130-100-120
    Weight: 1,400 gm per ski
    Radius: 19.2m

Price: for the 180cm Backland skis only, shipped flat, from Canada. $440US shipped in USA (pm me your email and I will send a Paypal invoice (you pay fees).

Note I'm shipping from Canada so it can take 7-10 days?

They're pretty damn light, and they are not noodles. I'm totally fine keeping them too. I plan to keep the MTN bindings....unless you make me an offer for them too (they are brand new as well with 100mm brake....ie $900US shipped?).

Kinda funny; I have the same skis, and bindings, and did one run on them and am selling. And it’s not cause I think they suck- I think the mount point is bunk. Skied 4-6” of dense powder on them and mounted on the line felt uncomfortably forward.

Granted the mark maybe biased forward for so many who tour or ski harder snow only, but even riding a piste they were just not stiff or powerful enough to warrant all that tail. Rather ski my v werks mantras and take the extra 350g/ski.

I am kinda terrified to think of what +2 skis like; if I could do it again I’d go -1 safely, maybe -1.5.

Someone should pick these skis up. Worthy deal. GLWS

Huh? I have another ski that literally is exactly the same dimensions and would be used exactly the same spot in my quiver. I got the atomics on a good deal and figured I’d give em a shot and maybe release the vwerks mantra which I am sure someone will want. Why would I drill the atomics again hoping that the ski performance issue is solved? If it isn’t I am trying to sell a 2x drilled brand new ski. Instead I just keep a ski I like and let someone else have the atomics for the 2nd mount (if not reusing my first holes). This decision don’t seem like rocket science man.
