Keeping snow from sticking to top sheets?

I feel like snow sticks to the top sheets of my black crows more than other skis I’ve had. They get super heavy when touring

I remember back in my long-haired, 3-pin days the crusty dudes spraying their skis down with cooking spray. Is that still a thing?

Does anyone have any tips on how to keep my top sheets clear and skis lighter?

Just keep them in a warm closet, problem solved.

Depends on the color too. The snow sticks to my noctas almost exclusively on the little black logo when conditions aren't prime for sticking. Otherwise it starts from the logo and works out. I wish ski makers would think of this stuff when making touring skis.

Pretty sure this has been discussed many times. Many people recommend Pam, the oven spray. Rainx probably works, too / just make sure whatever you use won’t impact the materials of the skis, bindings, screws, glue, etc.

Just pee on your skis.

It’s a fact that yellow snow is not sticky, and will simply dribble off your skis in no time.

Mop and Glo or similar Floor wax applied with a sponge. Did this for many years on race skis.

Spray-on car wax has worked better than anything else I’ve tried, but still sometimes sticks.

Having oily Pam on my skis would bum me out.

No advice except to say that the popular trend toward black/dark topsheets on touring skis is stoopid.

Not environmentally friendly but silicone spray works. Don't need much. Spread it on with some plastic film or a trashed plastic bag

(I’ve used shit like this before, for other things, and...be aware it is not transparent, but leaves a white powdery coat - which will wear off)

Anyone? The fellow wasn't offering mag discounts. Doing so would seem to be a no-brainer.
