Hey Everyone, I was wondering if you all could help me. I remember a few years ago I found a video of someone skiing shot 4, but I haven't been able to find it since. Does anyone have any documentation of anyone skiing shot 4? I love reading/watching crazy stuff like that!

This is the type of thinking that gets ppl killed. Disposal ridge is closed permanently for a reason. Somewhere in cle elum there is a mother and father grieving for their son they lost last year near shot 5. Please give the mountain the respect it deserves.

I'm not asking because I'm trying to ski it, I'm pretty sure that would be suicide. I have heard of a number of people skiing it back in the day, and if I remember correctly the skier in the video was a patroller at Alpental.

I loved reading Robb Gaffney's description of skiing Tram Face, and I know it was very much illegal. It doesn't mean I'm going to go out and try it.

    .
And a number of people got fucked up or killed in the day....actually very few did it successfully , and I don't think it was a patroller in the video...

West looked as crowded as if it was fully open. Meanwhile no one in the silver fir lot. Snow was heavy, sticky, and pretty deep. Hard trail breaking but nice to only see one other person on the way up. Bermy lomax got me good on the way down lol. Hope the snow sticks around through next week.

West had so many people on Saturday (~150). Way less on Sunday (~20). Sunday morning skied better with the top 3/4 being 4" of wind buffed, supportable snow. Then rain at 11am turned it to mush.
Fine for exercise, but not great.

Friday was empty. But also a foot less snow on the ground.

It skied a little different this afternoon... Rubber gloves being the attire du jour. Pacific Crest was a cluster, but wildside and dodge ridge were ski-on all afternoon. Good to be riding chairs again!

Thursday, January 11th? Would be a shame if SVS doesn’t claim first chair of the season…

I’ll let the scouts pack down the base and find the holes for a few days before I head up.

At least that’s what I tell myself.

I'm hoping to see a link for the first grunt cam action of 2024 very soon.
