    Best Boot Work in SLC

I did an alignment/ canting on my resort boots as well as a heat mold on my touring boots with brent/ PC Boot Room and I’m pretty sure It was $100.

I guess I felt good supporting his hustle and the off chance my alpine boots ski better now but for turning some screws and heating liners I felt like it was a lot. Got a great show though when some yuppie bought and fitted boots 2 years ago and came in complaining that they didn’t fit after she tried skiing them for the first time 2 years later. I’d probably go back he’s a fun character.

Avoid downtown L9 for new boots. Complete joke. I tried to get her to go to a proper fitter but here we are
    My fiancé’s google review:

I had a really terrible experience with buying boots here. I was shown one option after being talked out of the brand that I know works for my foot because they are “too mass produced” and the shop kid told me to try Dalbello. In hindsight it felt like they were trying to get me in on the cool factor and not what was best for my foot. The guy said to walk around the house then come get them molded. I made an appointment for this and showed up to get that done only to wait around for 20 minutes and be told that they wouldn’t do that and I should ski them in. I ended up calling Dalbello to see if that was accurate, which it was, so I skied them for 6 runs one day. The heel lift was unbearable and I felt unsafe skiing the boots. I tried to bring them in and have them get me in a boot that would work, store credit, exchange, something, only to be effectively belittled by offering me some heel volume reducers or to consign the boots for $380 after I had paid $700 for them retail. No offer to make the poor fit from their employees right, no attempts at helping besides heel butterflies which only kicks the problem down the road. Really terrible experience and now I’m out $700 and don’t have boots I feel comfortable in. As someone who skis 30+ days a season it’s an unacceptable business model. Avoid this place for boots.

Sounds like really lazy salespeople. If the liners were not molded I would tell them to refund. Then go to sportsden and talk to JJ 😎.

Bullshit, should be able to take them back refund no questions asked. They should be trying to make you happy.

Burn the entire store to the ground, that'll teach em .

    New boots in Park City?

What’s the best place to buy new (heavy inbound) boots and get work done in Park City? I have skinny heels/ankles and wide ass feet, so will need some serious stretching/punching at the sixth toe, but hopefully that’s it? Who would you trust in PC for this?

I’d check out PC Boot, but seems like they just do fitting vs selling retail?

I’d be willing to head to SLC, but I got stuck with some bald tires on my rental so would prefer not to get stuck on Parleys.

Brent at Park City Ski Boot without a doubt. They do retail. The Boot Room only does work, no retail.
