Proof by similar experience that I was in the Eastern Upstates? In October 1985 I was hearing all these stories about Benson Blue, this was supposedly the most awesome weed grown in New England at the time and it was just a few minutes from my college dorm room so I felt obligated to figure out where it was grown. I started driving around on as many dirt roads as I could find and eventually found what I was looking for. I came around a corner and below me was a couple of acres of the most beautiful weed I'd ever seen up to that point. I stopped the car and stood up and within seconds there was a sawed-off double barrel 3 feet from my face. I promptly sat back down and backed out. Not a word was said.
