More at least partial Upstate news (with part of it being south and down state): 53 year old Man swims the Hudson river from the starting point up state at Adirondack Park to NYC- Battery Park . 315 miles completed in 30 days.

It was mostly about awareness of the river's continued comeback from pollution as it continues to become a cleaner river and body of water.

Someone is going to have argue and discuss where the line should be drawn at the point where he left Upstate portion of the river and entered the down state lower parts.

farming wallabys is a weird hobby; but eccentric enough to qualify for upstate

I still remember the first time I noticed the llama farm off of 90 east of Troy. Seems pretty common place now - compared to wallabies at least.

They haven't found the wallaby yet. Hope the little guy makes it. Kangaroos are pretty formidable, but bigger.

then line up the rest of the pumpkin populace for sale to local children so they may each have an opportunity to personally gut and mutilate them godforsaken gourds and proudly be able to place the remains in front of their houses as a deterrent to future possible pumpkin attacks, while the adults enjoy refreshing glasses of apple cider and warm apple cider donuts with a lovely, cinnamon sugar coating…

Wallaby was captured. Was spotted in an area and a trap was set by a local Animal Shelter with some veggies to lore it in.

The drive to a Bass Pro Shop in that area of Upstate NY is bit far of a distance. Maybe a trip a few hours away up to Niagara on the Lake Store. Closer would be probably one of the Sportsman's Warehouse (used to be Field and Stream stores...)

Thing was clearly heading toward Quaker Steak on Peach in Erie. Everyone knows wallabys love wings.
