Check my past; I'm not a troll. Actually, this history is kind of fascinating. As I said before, I really didn't know her but my impressions of her from high school were that she was pretty quiet; one of the smart girls in class who the teachers always loved because they very obediently did all that was asked of them; straight-A, always doing their homework, dressed nice for school, teacher's pet... you know the type. In the meantime, I was a ski bum who slept through homeroom and first period most days, rarely did my homework, and dressed in my ski clothes and was out of school by 11:30 and on the hill by 12:30, night skiing every day of the week. We didn't run in the same circles so this is enlightening.

I must have missed her racist screes. In my view, her entertainment value dipped after the demise of TTips. On BCTalk, as far as I can recall, she did nothing more than post Alex Jones-like conspiracy stories relating to Dems, not quite along the lines of baby selling in pizza parlors but not far behind.

And, a 1950s motel may become the smartest investment in the not too distant future as I can see travelers preferring to select placies without lobbies and group dining. But $500K?! Drive-in movies are already making a comeback. Roller skating waiters and drive-up dining next?

She was....okay in high school, kind of plain but not bad. She was unusually normal looking. The missing person's report said she was 5'10", 185 lbs so heavier than when I last saw her. Her report picture isn't real flattering.

I hope I'm wrong, too but since there's been no updates beyond 'police investigating', it seems kind of strange. Maybe just my personal assumption of the worst of some people.

I think it's likely either suspicious and they are still investigating, or its suicide, because that seems to be the other reason details are not made public.

On Friday, March 20, 2020, at approximately 8:30 pm, the body of Laura Bowen was discovered in the area surrounding of her residence. The body was transported to the State Medical Examiners’ office to determine the cause of death. Next of kin had been notified.
On Tuesday, March 24, 2020 the Whittier Police Department was advised by the State Medical Examiners’ office had determined the cause of death to be accidental.
