XT SPD pedals for $98, as long as you don't mind waiting for shipping from the UK: https://a.co/d/aHb7Ity
Or you can buy them from a local business, and not ship them halfway around the world, for $120.

[derail] I have some very green/earth conscious friends who make good money and the amount of deals they find and purchase from overseas because it saves money. I don’t think they get it sometimes. Meanwhile I’m broke and no longer have qbp access so I buy cheap, but always at a local shop whenever I need consumables.[/end derail]

"If we can't bring the mountain to the party, let's bring the PARTY to the MOUNTAIN!"
seriously. Also never hurts to ask for a small discount for ordering through the local shop. A shop will usually oblige since it's basically "free" money being a special order.
I'm always happy to offer 10% off to someone who genuinely wants to support a local shop instead of amazon, etc. in my shop.
I try to do that when I'm not in a hurry or I know the shop actually has it in stock. But instead, it's normally something like this:
Hey T., do you carry the new Shimano flat shoes? Thinking of trying them but need to know if they fit (high chance they won't).
No but I can order them.
If you order them for me, and they don't fit, can you return them?
...
OK, I'll just order from Backcountry or REI where returns are free with free shipping.

Hey, I'm looking to get <this set> of Reserve wheels, can you get them?
Hmm let me look on QBP. No, only this set with I9 hubs.
That won't work for me, trying to get away from I9.
Ok, let me see if I can get a distributor agreement from Reserve.
<5 months later> crickets
Fuckit, I'm buying direct.
Not really bought, but I put together a 27.5 x 3.0 tire wheel for the Rocky. Bike is designed for 29”, so tons of room for the tires, even an FBF up front with big lugs. Almost the same height as a standard 2.5”.
Should be fun to rally around on.

Well, I have 165’s, as only one manufacturer makes a cinch mount under that length. (The Rocky has to run Cinch). North Shore Billet’s are $450, and they don’t sell wholesale.
I have the Mullet link, so geometry is essentially preserved. The 3.0’s on the 27.5 are roughly the same height as a 2.5 on the 29”, so that’s not an issue, either.
I also can run the 29” link with the 27.5” rear, so that’s an option to raise it even more.
As soon as Race Face makes a 160 or even 155, I am buying them.
This is only for riding on snow, so pedal strikes aren’t so much of an issue, but it really is the same height (or even higher).

“As per our earlier email…”
5 Dev doesn't make a Cinch interface, and they looks like they will break just sitting in a box.
You definitely don't need anything expensive for an E-Bike.
