That's pretty lame to buy rip-off components that Wolf tooth worked on.

When life gives you haters, make haterade.
I’ve got two or three dropper levers in the parts bin. Can dig them out tonight and send pics.Originally Posted by smmokan;

I bought one of the Wolf Tooth knock-offs to test it out... all good for now, assuming it's legit.

The thing I like about the Wolftooth style (lever) is that you can run it in either orientation.

also up on jenson , but not a single release yet...
as a die hard chamber 2 fan boy, i'm scared but excited. ok back into the snow i go.
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?
fuck that noise.
gmen.
I was a diehard Chamber2 guy as well but got sick of laces and they're heavy as F, soak up water like a sponge and take FOREVER to dry.Fox Union is my new shoe but they fit A LOT wider and I do have a skinny Giro foot. I make them work with a skinny insole shim in one of them. If you have a slightly wider foot, they're stiffer, lighter, dry WAY faster/don't absorb water. They have a longer/more rearward slot for your cleats, and the dual BOA works well.
There's nothing better than sliding down snow, flying through the air
New bike day
Couldn’t get a Cube Hyde Pro in North America but I got a decent price on this Spot Acme which scratches my belt drive townie itch and will pull (and STOP) a kiddie trailer.
Pretty sweet ride. Need to find better pedals, maybe a wider/taller bar, and different tires.
I hadn’t even realized it comes with a dynamo front hub…guess I have to source some LEDs!

Maybe with the dyno you can run a ground effects package. For the night rides.
Accumulated some bits and pieces for my sentinel from various winter sales and deals. Love the sentinel in stock form, but a couple big trips / races this summer had me wanting something bigger, but still very pedal-able. Debated bumping up to a Spire, but decided to embiggen the sentinel instead.
- Hayes Dominion A4's, courtesy of Andeh (thanks again!)
- bumped the dropper up to 210mm. One Up v3.
- Cascade link. Bumps travel to 165mm.
- Fox Float X2. This was a warranty replacement from an older X2 I had lying around. I didn't really like the tune on it paired with the stock sentinel linkage, but it feels great with the cascade link.
- Fox 38 X2, 170mm. Bumped the travel up from stock to better match the rear. The 38 was my favorite fork previously, and the new damper is phenomenal. I'm a fan.
- fresh rubber. Max grip assegai up front, t7/t9 eliminator in back.
Overall, I'm looking the changes. The longer fork definitely raised the front end a bit and slacked it out. It feels a bit silly on flatter trails, but it's great on steep stuff, which is mostly what I was after.

the bullit shit the bed so got a new Vala
Lee Lau - xxx-er is the laziest Asian canuck I know
Bought some dominion a2s for my XC bike. NSMB gave these a positive review and noted performance is not far off an A4. Reall impressed. They also use my existing sram bleed kit which is a bonus. 170 for the set through steep and cheap made it an easy trial.
I have so many 31.6 droppers, and need 30.9s.
my stock reverb is squishy and sloppy. I did the flip and compress and it's all aired up but still not great. rideable.
150mm 31.6 for a tallboy v4. i could prob go more drop because I have a lot of lower part showing.
I think I am going to get a one up v3 unless someone tells me otherwise.

^interesting. As a former reverb hater I've come around to liking them since I got a new one in '19.
Maybe is just needs a "real" service?
Toast, DH and Stuckie; I've about given up selling my '17 Canfield Balance and will probably part it out. Zero bites for over a year asking $1k. That means I've got a 30.9 x 200mm Brand X Ascend XL I can part with. It's been flawless and received limited use since the bike was mostly for Angel Fire days where it stayed dropped all day (except when pedaling up to Devinci's Code). $50 plus shipping from zip 81201 if you're interested.
Care to elaborate? If my Ebike shit the bed without warranty support, I would be hard pressed to replace with same brand.

However many are in a shit ton.
I had a stock reverb on my SC 5010 and went around in circles with expensive and time consuming services.
Then I got a cable actuated fox transfer and wished I had done it right away. Which is what I am doing on this bike.
Does anyone make a hydraulic actuated dropper besides rockshox? It does not make sense. It's like hydraulic shifting.

One Up is having a decent sale ATM - or was, not sure now.
Got a new v3 dropper for 215 shipped.
