Finished up the build this week after coming off the ‘20 Sight...another 2 months of waiting for riding season.

Kept her simple, full XTR, WAO, Fox. Still eager to see what the WAO bike will be come spring.

Lookin' good, but you need some silver fork decals to match the frame.

BTW, Bontrager makes some decent carbon hoops that retailed for around $1200 (with good hubs too) if anyone is looking for a non-dentist carbon wheelset. Warranty program is excellent too as I have found out lol

Let me guess. Hubs exploded? I have a set of line 40 pros that I feel are probably a ticking timebomb.

Under 31 is not too bad for a 160/170 with the Zeb, real tires, and inserts, I reckon.

Sweet ride, and impressive weight! I'm barely 1/2 lb lighter with 150/140, a Mezzer, and fake tires with no inserts.

Well, the tires are just EXO+ and not DD, so maybe still a little fake.

No...I broke the front rim crashing (my fault) into a dry creekbed...and the back rim hucking meat. The other shop guys all had issues with the first gen, but none with the second gen which came out summer 2020.

Me too - second generation seems better but I now run inserts. But I suppose I should run DD?

The hubs have felt awesome for me, but I'm no hub-expert.

That is crazy light for as much bike as that is, especially with all the shit you got strapped to it. My Gnarvana is 34.5, granted with a DD rear tire, coil, and an EDC... but still, all the components are dentist grade.

it really is light. It was weighed with all of that stuff off of it, though.

Those bonty hubs have the last amount of rolling resistance if any hub I've tried and have been fine for me but they have a reputation. Not sure which generation mine are.

Downhill fork service. That cost a pretty penny. FWIW, the guy said it looked like sand and mud inside. So I guess it was worth it.

    Newmen wheels, 200mm discs and a Baron/Kaiser f/r combo.

Going on my Strive, and probably on a new bike after this season.

Don't really trust the Reynolds hubs after last season.

That's a featherweight for that category...

I was in the shop Saturday and saw the big box of parts with my name on it. New XT drivetrain and four-pot brakes with a rebuilt rear wheel.

Bought some flat pedals and a slightly longer stem for Stinky Timmy (the fat bike). I have a new rim ready to be laced up for Leeloo (the trail bike), as soon as I get around to i.e. can find the spokes to do it.

My thought was that you could add clipless pedals to those so you can ride flats or SPD
