I have a pair of free-raider 14 2.0 I never got to using, still got a warranty tag on em. I have never skiied pin bindings. 4 skis to chose from.

They will become my one touring ski quiver...
My general thoughts are maybe the down 104 is a little narrow for my liking so the bigstix make most sense to me. The donner party are old & probably quite heavy, & the spoons would be fun fun fun.

Give me your ski binding guru wisdom.

of the options available, im inclined to agree.

you can NOT tour on full rocker skis, so the spoons are out, and from your pictures the moments are at most a maybe. all full rocker skis should be destroyed and burned imo.
120 mm wide skis and above are terrible to tour on unless you have 20cm of dry fresh. so the spoons and moments are out, and fischer are borderline depending on where you live.
free-raider 14's are ultralight tech bindings, i doubt they can take the torque of any of your wide skis anyway, they're not designed to do that.

i couldnt find the exact model, but down skis generally don't seem overly heavy. 104mm would be a bit skinny for a tour quiver for me, but i live in hokkaido, by spring id be happy with 104 tho still.

This is false, you can definitely tour on full rocker skis, lots of folks do so. I've done so without major issues. They make certain skinning conditions (firm, icy) more difficult for sure but this doesn't make it an absolute no-go.

The Downs are the obvious choice here. The other 3 are poor options for a single touring rig IMO.

^ the CD104s are somewhere around 1800g/ski in that length. I got a pair inbound myself, pretty psyched about thrm. but given the rest of his quiver, OP and I seem to like different things...

where do you expect to tour ? For a 1 ski touring quiver I would look at something light between 100-110 underfoot/ early rise/ flat tail

I've been really tempted to throw pins on my Donner Parties, not sure if that would be too much torque for the pins though.

I live in greater Vancouver, BC. Trying out all over manning park, Vancouver’s north coast mtns, coquihalla, south okanagan, whistler/pemberton. Day trip stuff. All over the place though. I’m thinking mostly touring & not buying a pass as I had the mountain collective last year& edge card at whistler..&tired of big resorts. I got a pass for some small resorts around here. Anyway, hopefully lots of good snow days& some winter hike n fly which would be mostly just skinning, not skiing. I don’t really care to go tour in less than fluffy conditions...

Yeah what I recommended ^^ things are gona be tough all over let alone Vangroovy, I'm betting this time of year you could find a ski/binding/skins setup used for very cheap
