Seeking Used SHM-55 multi release Cleats You Aren’t Using.

My new knee is not liking the standard cleats, looking to try some of the crappy ones. Anyone have some sitting in the bottom of a toolbox before I (gasp) have to pay retail?

    I only need one...(or a 56, I guess?)

It’s for road/gravel riding before y’all tell me to man up and ride flats...

Don't have any, but I'll plug Crank Bros here. My knees hated the Shimano cleats and I used the multi-release ones. Crank Bros are much better for my knees.

It’s only going to be for a month or two at max. Not worth buying new pedals as I have five bikes with SPD’s. I can’t stand Crank Bros, in general. The ‘hit a rock and release’ feature just doesn’t work for me. But thanks for the suggestion!

Haha yes, that is very true about them. I ride them only on road / gravel so not a real issue on that front. Good luck finding cleats.

When my knee doesn't like being clipped in, it usually means I need to stretch more and make the ankle strap tighter.
Knee replacement, though? Is it the actual pivot to release that's not feeling right? Multidirectional cleats new should be pretty cheap.

In general, those things suck so bad, any price is too much. I would only use them for a month, and then gift them to some basket-hauler in Kenya.

So you're just looking for more worn regular cleats? I may even have something.

Jeebus stuckie trying to fuck you up. I remember some ugly tip overs from worn out cleats.

So you just want some new cleats? Bike shops are considered essential, at least around here, and cleats are like $20.

Technically, I don’t want new cleats...I want a single cleat for a few weeks.
    I’m cheap like that.
