Currently, we're well below last year's snow level (close to four hundred inches last year vs. two hundred seventy, this year). No new snow in almost two weeks, although a weak storm is reportedly approaching. If this keeps up, bring your carving skis, or better yet, go to Purgatory since their groomers are longer, steeper, and silliyer than what Wolfy has to offer.
Also, I've heard that the Texas spring break season begins this weekend and lasts for two weeks, then the Colorado / local spring break kicks in for a week. So more, and crappier (for the first two weeks) skiers, for the remainder of the month.Last edited by Viva; 03-05-2020 at 07:03 PM.

viva is accurate. we have a good base if there is fresh snow it could be good. If you want a place to stay I am in South Fork. Can leave here around 6 and make first chair at Taos.

Colorado spring break won't have near the effect on WC as Texas spring break. But even those fuckers won't make the good stuff too crowded.
