get ready for daily texts about underwear and relentless emails about reviews, sales, or anything they can think of because undies are sooo important. Marketing department goes hard.

I don't understand the pit viper comment but I'm sold on the BN3TH. I was desperate and paid full price on a hope and a prayer. No more numb, purple cold, wine cork sized pud nub.

Dude you’re a savage with all the dope trails and jumps you build.

The P2P is just a really long ass pedal, so much pedaling. Checked that box yesterday and while it’s my only mtb race, it was super fun with amazing support, and I would highly recommend it if pedaling for 8-11 hrs is your thing. Yesterday’s conditions were about as good as it gets I image, nothing like 75 miles of brown pow and cool temps!

Alright…is the term “skidder” a Utah or Wasatch thing? I swear I’ve never heard the term until moving here and now I hear it being thrown around everywhere.

I don’t know where the term came from but it describes 90% of PC’s black diamond and pirate trails to perfection.

mild temps and brown pow couldn't ask for better conditions for that race... about good as it gets yesterday. sick you did that congrats!

few other crews up digging in various zones these days which is awesome...between change reaction/ and loose change and other new "skidder" aka DH trails going in this year, theres about 7 new trails to choose from.

also hearing the term "skidder" thrown around more these days as well. really its just a DH trail. go ride thieves and fireswamp its the same thing and they were built 30 years ago...its called DH really. but skidder is cool too kinda a term of endearment i guess. skidder=dh. .....skidder/dh not built with an excavator, not flow trails.

Solitude is showing Raptor Road is closed still. Last time I was up there it was late evening so we rode it up to the base of Summit and to the top in the usual fashion. Is there another good/legit way to get to the Summit road from the base during normal hours to not get hassled?

    Thanks!

Solitude also just announced that all uphill travel is off limits for the rest of the year. This includes the road. Huge bummer.

If I could ride I'd shit myself in rage over this. As if these twats were working past 5 pm...
Milly road works but it's even more unpleasant, and you have to drive to Brighton or finish your ride with a shitty road slog.

Milly road option may be legit but it's definitely not good. Personally I'd start my ride with the shitty road slog, but you do you.

But, yeah, this year's BCC "improvements" are really going splendidly.

Everyone should just shame em on solitudes social media pages. Hardly anyone ever replies, it would be funny to text bomb.

Damn that’s shitty news and likely a sign of things to come, but like boissal said, just pedal uphill before or after operating hours. That’s how I’ve accessed other areas that try to restrict access to their trails, just don’t park in the lot or linger at the base area afterwards

Pavement first or last is still a bit of a bummer considering you used to be able to lap Honey/Silver without really touching pavement, which I find highly preferable even if the trail options to avoid the road were fairly mediocre. Guess now it makes sense to link the whole Brighton circuit with the good DH trails to make the pavement slog more palatable. Not that it makes a difference to me right now since I'm stuck on the road bike but I will insist on bitching about it.

Hell, I threw a fit when they had the archery competition and had closed the whole mountain so wanna be Robin Hoods could skewer plastic deer hiding 15' off the road inside a bush... No offense meant to archery lovers btw but all these dudes had wrapped up by 4pm and were drinking beers in the lot, not sure how much risk I was taking by crossing the miles of pink ribbon they had strung all over the area (and left to blow in the wind afterwards).

My mountain rah rah rah my trails rah rah my fun is more important than anyone else's. I'm just salty cause I've been off the bike for weeks while the dirt is moist and dark and buddies are sending me pics of my stuff looking better than I've ever ridden it myself...

I ran into that archery thing and was a little grumpy about it, but the two hunters I talked to about it were hot hunter chicks and were super friendly. No body was able to tell me if they were shooting arrows in honeycomb though, so I decided it was safer to go ride somewhere else.
