On hardpack snow I love the 191 E104s at +2 from the line (-6.8 cm back from true center). They are super balanced and easy to pivot.

Late last season I finally got them in true 3D snow- maybe something like 6 or 7 inches of snow on top of hardpack. I couldn't get them to float even at high speed. They just wanted to drive on the hardpack layer underneath.

This hasn't been an issue for me in other skis around this width even at mount points that are as far forward as -5 from true center. (For example, the Moment Deathwish 104 is happy to float at -6)

I'm ~200 lbs, so perhaps in this specific ski shape I weigh too much for them to float mounted where they are at +2.

I'm contemplating moving them back to the line or mounting at +1. I guess it would be a major bummer to get them to +1 and figure out that I wished they were further back still...
Why not just ski the DW104? I replaced my E110 with the DW. Very few regrets. I think I could push the front of the E110 a bit harder in variable, but I like the DW better almost everywhere else.

I'd put those 104's on the line and then ditch them for something else if they don't work for you there. I kinda expect 104 width skis to float decently, but you're a big guy.

Edit: saw your most recent note. I do appreciate the damp steamroller performance of the Enforcer line.

The new shapes look really good, except for the 104 with the flatter tail. Not sure why they did that to a pretty great ski.

I love the DW, DWT and the Wildcat.

I got the DW104 intending for it to be a low tide ski because of how much I liked the rest of the DW line.

I find the DW 104 to be more stiff and less damp than the DW. The triple camber does a great job of holding an edge on hard pack and corn and slush, but the ride isn’t smooth for me on icy and coral reef low tide days because of how light they are.

The Enforcer 104 is a much better low tide ski for me and I’m starting to enjoy it in up to 6ish inches or so of pow.

Interesting. I thought the DW104 was more damp than the 112, but marginally so. It definitely is a stronger ski and can be pushed harder.

I've yet to ski my new Enforcer 94's. We've started off the season with deep snow. I'll get on them next week. Maybe a few laps tomorrow.

I finally spent yesterday on the '23/4 E94 186. I mounted them with P14's that I grabbed really cheap. I have $200 in this whole setup.

Per my last comments on these, I was skiing a Commander 102, 182 in this spot and just found that ski hard to bend and a bit dead. I didn't love the really traditional mount point (coming from most of my skis being in the -6 range).

The E94 was really a good ski for what I wanted. Super supportive and confidence inspiring the entire length of the ski. It carves longer radius turns really well. It smashes chop. The biggest surprise for me was how friendly it was in chunky off-piste snow and moguls. I had read and heard that it could be a lot of ski in that length, so I was very pleasantly surprised. No fresh snow to test float, but these won't be the skis I grab for that, anyway.

They are exactly what I was hoping for: a versatile narrower ski. I could see these getting a lot more ski time than the C102's. They may even take some days from my beloved Deathwish 104.

Right on! It’s a great ski and surprisingly versatile as you articulated.

I’m still on the fence about keeping my E94s on the line or remounting at +1 (or however close I can get with the hole spacing).
My daily boot is a Cochise 120 which has a lean angle of 12 degrees I think; with cuff spoilers the ski feels a lot better to me on the line, but without the cuff spoilers it feels just a tad bit slow and less playful.
This contrasts to my daily ski, an ON3P Woodsman 110 which I have mounted at -7 cm that feels incredibly loose and quick to get sideways compared to the E94, which I use when I can’t penetrate the WD110 at least q/4 or 1/2” into the snow surface. I guess when switching between the E94 and WD110 I can pop the cuff spoiler in and out and see if that helps avoid remounting …

I think in an ideal world I would have both of these skis mounted at about -7.5 from center.

I don’t think you’ll get much change from mounting the Enforcer forward. It’s a fixed radius ski, which is torsionally stiff, with a flat tail that skis best with a bit of pressure on the tips. I could see turn initiation getting a little easier, but it’s not going to ski like Woodsman regardless of mount location.

Two days in on my E94's. I wouldn't even consider moving the mount forward. I'm going to keep skiing them. They work great for our current "variable" conditions. I keep thinking they're going to be more demanding than they are. They just do their thing.

The more days I spend on the full tail rocker Enforcer 104 Free, the more I believe it to be the best dust on crust ski in the world.

I love them, and they have blown up my quiver. I take them out on every low tide day and on most days with six inches or less of new snow. The combination of dampness and looseness in 3D snow and smooth, approachable and stable on hard pack and shitty coral reef is unparalleled. Plus they rail on groomers and hold an edge but also release turns so easily.

Are they the only metal ski with camber and full rocker in recent history? I’m not aware of any others especially in that width and I am so sad that Nordica ditched the tail rocker as of last year.

Notes- I detune aggressively past contact points, but maintain the factory 1 degree base and 2 degree side bevels. I have them mounted with all metal pivot 15s for an even damper ride. I’m heavy enough (205 lbs today) that I can bend them into any shape without working hard.

The new Enforcer 104 still has lots of tail rocker and splay like the 104 Free, just reduced a bit so don’t fear! Actual stiffer now with added mass, rubber damping underfoot with a slightly longer turn radius. It should be even more of a crud destroyer and precise carver now.

One of our Freeride comp coaches (absolute shredder) went Enforcer 104 Free to Unleashed 108 last year. This year he's back on the Enforcer 104. I'll have to ask him how he likes them.

I think the new 94 could make a super versatile DD for a ton of folks.

I haven't heard any complaints about the new skis yet.

Sounds like I need to try the new enforcer [emoji637][emoji[emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji638]]][emoji640].

    Fucking hell. One. Oh. Four.

Anyone skied then vs the OG One Ten?

If they were like that ski with a tiny bit more top end I’d be stoked.

I’d love to hear a comparison from someone who has skied the enforcer 104 free and the new enforcer 104.

I tend to like rubber in a ski layup, but I also love a full tail rocker and being able to easily release a turn in 3D snow and bumps.

I think the 110 was a bit looser and lighter than the 104. Its pretty light.

The 110 has always been softer and lighter than the 104 but it gained weight maybe 4 years ago when they added True Tip maybe the year after the 104 came out.
So the new 104 will definitely be noticeably stiffer, stronger and a bit heavier than any 110.

Unleashed line has less taper and rocker than the enforcer(and Enforcer Free) line but softer and lighter. Very good carvers but don’t have the mass of the Enforcers.
Sender Free 110/MFree 112 would be the choice is someone wanted an Enforcer 110/Unleashed 108 mix that’s more stable and better in crud than either of those.

I have a few skis to get through this season. But this sounds like a spring purchase for me.

Light? It's a 2200 gram ski. I wouldn't call it light. I loved the 110. Skied it almost every day of our massive '22-3 season. I should have kept that ski, but I knew it was being discontinued so I moved on. I haven't skied the 104 for comparison.

Inquired about the 185cm Enforcer 104 from my contact at Corbett’s and gave me a deal I couldn’t say no to.
Owned the 186cm Enforcer 104 Free but found it a little too loose in the tail and not as stable at speed as I’d like so swapped to the 183cm 21 Faction 2.0. The new Enforcer 104 should give fix my complaints of the 104 Free and hopefully improve the suspension over the very good CT 2.0.

Anyone feel that last years [emoji637][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]]][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]]]s were noticeably better on groomers than [emoji637][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]]][emoji640]s? Have both, not sure which to keep and mount.
