Received mine yesterday and this thing is bad ass...’ 6’4” and 205lbs and the cut and length is perfect... Yeah it is an athletic cut but I am going to use this as an around town coat but I am impressed... This was one hell of a hookup and helps ease the pain for missing the AOS gear cheap skis PSA... wore this today under shell, over light and mid merino base layers.

it was a big resort day, lots of billygoating around and stormy, damp weather overall. i stayed temperate all day and when i took the shell off, the ascendant was visibly wet on the outside and the shell was damp on the inside, but i was warm and dry underneath. the polartec alpha definitely transported the moisture and kept me in great shape on a long hard day. will bang again.

Got my large today, fits similar to other or nice and athletic at 6’3” 200. Will be a nice addition now I just need to get out.

Pretty impressed. It's rare for me to put on one layer/jacket and wear it uphill and downhill with no changes. It was around 20 degrees at the trailhead this morning, probably mid 20's high temp at elevation, light wind, and sun. I wore it over an old patagucci 'mid-weight' capilene and made no changes all day. Put up the hood a few times skiing down, and unzipped to the packs waist belt on the uphill but that was it.

Medium fits great at 6'0 170ish.

Bought a medium thats a bit too small for me (6' - 180lbs) in the shoulders. Will trade for a large, or can send to someone who wants a medium ($50 shipped).

Sucks, its rad, but just a bit too snug in the shoulders for me.

Dig this piece. Black and no zippers on pockets works nice for around town piece.

Ran 10 miles on a commute home at an easy pace in 15F and the neck/hood worked $$$. Versatile.

Have large, need XL. Washed but not worn/used as black had a strong dye/fabric smell. Have tags, packaging.
