I was out there at the peak in late April but it looks like they had some serious action in late May, you said you skied it in June?
Whoa. Last May was insane though, I remember skiing pow then coming home and doing landscaping like May 20th. IIRC it was the second wettest May on record at the SLC airport, only to May 2011.

Y'all hearing the great Snowbird rumor yet? Can't wait to sort out the fact from the (more than likely) fiction but have noticed that rope lines are still up on P-Ridge....

Would be pretty sweet if it happens! I saw patrollers riding up on Peruvian on Monday when I was driving down the canyon mid-morning. At this point either open her up or let us tour...its painful looking at all that low hanging fruit wasting away.

Those shots are absolutely glorious. The scale is hard to grasp but the top of Doso Doyabi is at 12,700 and the toe of the slide paths around 10,000. Leg-roasting turns forever!!!!

Coverage looks every bit as good as when i was there in late April too. Crazy!

I’d tell you the rumors are true. It’ll be interesting to see how it works. No day tickets from what I gather.

Lift rides by appointment? Or park at the park and ride at the bottom of the canyon, get out of your car and join the line right there?

^^^ are you saying that just because it's logistically impossible to pull it off safely and in accordance with Utah's "Orange" category? that's not the kind of "Can-do" attitude Snowbird lives by!!

Saw this in the SLTrib today and I instantly thought of those entitled douchebags.
They would drop rolls of TP out of their heli because hey we are rich and we can
Looks like the same type of helicopter, round cockpit straight tail, from this blurry pick.

^^^ heh. I've also noticed that Protect Our Winters has somehow crazily found a way to have their meetings without all flying across the country to get together.

Is PowMow still closed to uphill traffic? I need to get my dogs some exercise and the options for doing that on snow are getting very limited.

I think so. A lot of it is probably melted out as well. Snowbasin is open to uphill and dogs are ok there afaik.
