What are long knives for 2000?

Wow, i was hopeful but really didn’t expect the shiv to twist so soon.

Im a little surprised Buzzy doesn’t get more discussion as well. He’d be very good. I’d be fine w Blossom going full time but don’t really see her wanting to cash in her acting career quite yet. I was surprisingly impressed w David Faber and thought he had a very Alex like vibe going. I still kind of hope Ken, but really hope it is NOT Levar

LeVar dropped the ball, unless Mike Richards screwed him over. There was some speculation that they kept some of his flubs in to make him look bad. Seemed a bit far-fetched to me at the time, but given everything else we now know about Mike Richards, I'm not so sure anymore. If they're doing another round of guest hosts I think he deserves a second chance.

    Jeopardy thread- LETITSNOW

I could see plausible editing Levar to make him look worse than he was, but his whole performance seem strained to me. The much bigger issue was the incessant campaign by Levar for the job which struck me as almost as smarmy as Richards behind the scenes string pulling. He certainly deserved a guest host gig tryout but beyond that the PR campaign reminded me of Leno

If they extend to a round two Id like to see:
    Ken
    Buzzy
    Blossom
    Faber
    Alex’s picks
    Levar (begrudging hate watch)

Don’t get me wrong, fuck that guy, but if they name Blossom or Buzzy the regular host, I am done with Jeopardy.

What a shitshow. Really can't stand blossom at all, will be easy to avoid specials. If they move her to full time I can easily stop watching the show.

I found him kinda smarmy (not on the level of Blossom but still) and thought his delivery was unpolished to the point of detracting from the show. And he wears those stupid fucking glasses.

He annoyed me a bit when he was a contestant, but I thought he did well in his hosting gig. At least he has a certain look and isn't just some generic white guy up there.

He was super annoying to me when he first started as a contestant, but by the end of his run had won me over with his schtick. I think ken had a darker sense of humor and the capability of tossing some real Alex like barbs, but Id be fine w Buzzy.

I think Blossom's history as an anti-vaxxer and snake oil salesmen is worse than anything Richards ever did and should also be disqualifying. But I also didn't like her very much as a host.

I liked Buzzy during the TOC.

I was rooting for either Burton or Jennings, but I missed the week that Levar hosted. I wouldn't mind seeing him get another bite at the apple.

Doesn’t sound like she’s really an antivaxxer based on her subsequent comments. But i always preferred Six to Blossom anyway

She's tried to walk some of it back, for sure. And there are certainly other Hollywood types who are worse with this horseshit.

However, if you have to get into the details and parcel the nuances of your vaccine-skeptic bullshit, you are far too much of an anti-vaxxer for me.

More podcasts came out with controversy. He did one day of shows (5- so 1 week that they are planning on airing) and has stepped down as the new host. He was ranked as 9th of all the guest hosts. So I am also glad that he will not be the host- mostly because it seemed he was calling the shots and wanted the host job as well as Executive Producer still.

Not sure what the next steps are for host. I would be happy with most any of the other guest hosts other than probably Buzzy, Aaron Rogers, and Katie Couric.

He didn't step down as executive producer, so it's still guaranteed to be toxic.

Ya, that he is still the ep for jeopardy and polluting it with his plans for an updated Version of the show is really a bummer. I have visions of jeopardy soon becoming this decades version of the matchgame/Hollywood squares hour. Bowser for jeopardy host!

At least he has an unusual look and isn't just some generic white guy up there and that will take away from the shows basic principal of it is all about the contestants and competition and should not be about the host distracting from the answers and of course the questions. FIFY... It would be a distraction for many.
