Rowan is going to be awfully hard to beat tomorrow. Pretty confident they're going to the ToC.

I made the mistake of looking at the comments on the Jeopardy Facebook page and the comments regarding Rowan are as lame as you'd imagine they'd be. Jesus people are narrow-minded and petty.

I don't know but he was highly annoying- you could tell the editors starting cutting his pregnant pause stares at the camera after his correct answers. I shouldn't bother watching this but I can't help myself- I think SNL needs to do an updated spoof

Bummed at how Ryan did in the opening round. I really liked watching him play earlier this year (I'm new to watching Jeopardy) and I had high hopes for him.

Yeah, just too many wrong answers for him including a daily double.

N9ne of the first 3 were that impressive. The Jeopardy round was absolutely awful

For three ToC level players to struggle like that is a pretty good indications the questions were too hard or just plain bad. Strange because then the Final Jeopardy clue was easy.

Nevertheless, made for a seesaw battle.
    Relatively low post count.

Some of those categories were strange and not very easy. Like the Vowels that you had to figure out the answer to in the one category (do not even remember the title)....

But yes, overall just too many bad bets- like the one Double Jeopardy that was in the category mentioned that they all were struggling with and he bets $2000 on it instead of maybe $200...

I got whiplash on that loss by Jonathan/John C Reilly. Wagering strategy for the win, Alex

He made the cover bet, so I'm not going to fault him for that. Andrew wagering $10k on that second daily double was a bit bold. Andrew looked like he was going to throw up when Ken told him he won.

The cover bet was conventional. Andrew’s short bet not so much. The 10k should have been a slam dunk. I was surprised he didn’t know that one. Still some heavy hitters to play. Should be more good games.

I blew that one, too. Should have paid more attention to the "EID MARS" inscription. Duh.

I'm sure the producers told him to inject some high octane humor. He could have only brought it up to a 7, no need to go to 11

Ryan didn't make the cut. Rowan didn't make the cut. I'm sad. I'm a big fan of fellow square pegs.

Tonight- Matteo R, Matt A, and Amy S.

3 pretty high dollar long running winners... Should be a good match.

It was an exhibition match up, so much more informal leading up to the TOC semi finals...
