I really hate the sudden death final format. Def would prefer two winners going into the next game than this coin flip system

What was up with the final Jeopardy betting, can't be smart to have enough money to win with the proper betting than to be leading and get it right, then end up with a tie with someone trailing.

Yeah, the wagering in the last few months has at times been baffling, or else I am stupid.
Having both “winners” move on to the next game would totally screw up their system - one of the next contestants who are there sitting in the audience (they tape 5 episodes a day) would miss out. Also, I think doing that, might lead to collusion. Ties have very rarely been a problem, because usually the contestants wager intelligently. However, this season it’s happened twice!
That was the system for years until recently. The current format has only been in place a couple years. Before that there were quite a few tie games w two winners going into the next game. NBD
Hmm, OK, what do I know. I guess not much.
NFL is worse.
Relatively low post count.
I dont have a problem with settling Jeopardy ties in ordinary games with one question. If it were the GOAT tournament that's a different story. That would be as dumb settling the World Cup with penalty shots. Oh, wait.
Oh, they got Trammelled.
They got Trammelled good.

No speech that the Final Jeopardy questions are randomly selected in advance. The Champion bet based on the 2nd place getting it right and he also answering correctly. As it turns out the 3rd place is the only one to get it right and if the first place had bet nothing or not very much at all could have won based on his lead going in. But at least there was not a tie involved and the Final betting was better than some days.
I like this new second chances tournament

Me too. I missed an episode or two so at first I was bummed I missed that multigame guy lose
BUT how weird were the mannerisms of the woman that won the game?!?!?!
I don't see either of the first two doing well in TOC.
The Navy guy has a shot, as long as they don't throw too much pop culture in.
lots of laughter from the audience in this episode with the phobia category leading.
How about that one lady who kept saying thousand instead of hundred and the other lady’s scowls/ facial expressions were so animated [emoji38]

My daughter just walked in and said why is that lady scowling so bad?![]()
It will be interesting tomorrow night with the final Jeopardy betting if one of them does not get a really huge lead tomorrow... There must be a rigomortis setting in on the CPA- Molly and she can't bend anything but her button arm at the elbow and her thumb??![]()
Military dude crushed it on the geography. They all got the final question. Wife and I were only able to come up with one of the three right answers...
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!
Molly is such an interesting character.
