I'm thinking getting off at Grand and running an 8-10 minute mile would ultimately be faster (if you are capable of running that pace). That is a dedicated Blue Line stop. On the Blue line there are 5 other stops between Grand an Clinton. Two of which are large subway hubs where multiple lines come together. Those kind of stops always take longer. Especially during rush hour.
Getting through all 5 of those stops in less than 10 minutes is rather unlikely. Plus then you still have to sprint .3 miles to get from Clinton to Union Station.
So get off at Grand
Head SE on N Milwaukee Ave. After going under the overpass, bear left onto W KINZE ST for two blocks.
Turn right onto N CLINTON ST just before passing under the railroad tracks.
Head south for 8 blocks. Union Station will be there on your left waiting.

Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.</p>

Hurdle # 1 Done. On time departure from the Q.... The clock starts when wheels hit O’Hare.....
Isn't it Friday the 13th?
You're fucked, man.![]()
This one is from the DOT. O'Hare to 290 is almost exactly your route.

Make sure you head north out of the Clinton stop- you'll come up under an expressway so it's a bit disorienting. I think there's a sign but every second counts!
Try to find out what track your train leaves from in advance. Odd tracks are on the north side and even on the south.
