A friend of mine told me she got shocked while moving the ALUMINIUM ladder to power wash her house, everything seemed in order and had recently been done properly to code so i checked around with a meter and so what I found is the metal roof of her house was 115V hot and had been hot for at least 5yrs
without a ground the roof could have unknowingly stayed hot forever but the powerwash while using the Aluminium ladder gave her a shock , a good example of the reason why electricians only use wooden ladders
the circuits in the box were mislabeled which provided an extra level of wtf to the trouble shooting but I think what happened is a screw holding on the flashing for the carport went thru the wall & pierced a hot wire to the upstairs baseboard heater so she just turned off the breaker
