When knives are outlawed only outlaws will have knives

"On Wednesday, London police responded to separate stabbings within hours of each other, the victims, a young boy believed to be in his teens and a man, were sent to the hospital with life-threatening or serious stab wounds. That makes two attacks this morning, five this week...and more than 39,000 in just six months. Quietly, a brutal, deadly knife attack epidemic is overwhelming residents and police forces throughout the United Kingdom."

Fucking amateurs. All those people wounded would be dead as shit (or at least more seriously maimed) if they had just half the guns we have. That Japanese dude yesterday could have had dozens dead if he'd had an assault rifle like we have, instead of just one dead and fifteen wounded. Guns!!!! amirite?

I have had 3 guys apply for jobs over the years who suffered an "unprovoked" attack at 2 am outside of a bar that left them with disabilities. It was much clearer to me, than to them, they had really big mouths that somebody didn't care for. Some people never learn they weren't just a random victim.

So is 'stabbing victim' the resume item that I believe it to be?

better alternative title: unable to attain guns, assailants resort to much less effective means thus limiting causalities

Didn’t someone in Japan gas the entire subway system?

We talking knives? because I thought that was what the OP wrote. But sure, that happened- 12 dead in subway... apparently it's not so easy since it occurred 1 time and took 10 people to execute. And yeah - it's horrible as is any violence.
So - how many in Vegas again? How many monthly in US from gun violence?
The anti-control argument of "but they'll figure out another way" or "See? You can't stop it all so what's the point?" is flawed fatalist rationalization that basically dismisses the idea of any law enforcement because "something else will takes it's place".

Under the mistaken belief that knife crime was previously not an epidemic because we were all/a lot of us carrying in the UK.
Pity these guys didn't only have knives... https://www.seattlepi.com/seattlenew...e-13899887.php
Four gunshot victims, including a mother and her child, were hospitalized after a shooting Monday evening in southeast Seattle, according to officials.
Two of the patients were in critical condition as of 10 p.m. including a 27-year-old woman and her son who was under the age of 2, Harborview Medical Center spokesperson Susan Gregg said in an email. A third victim, an 8-year-old boy was upgraded from critical to serious condition a little after 10 p.m. and a 10-year-old girl was reported in satisfactory condition
The shots rang out just after 7 p.m. Monday at Pritchard Island Beach, the Seattle Police Department said in a statement. The shots came from two groups of people in the parking lot, witnesses told police.
The woman and her child were in the backseat of their car when they were struck my multiple gunshots, police said.

Have any of you considered that perhaps the assailant under discussion here is a traditionalist? I mean, with Japan's history with knives, and swords, and all.

There was an attack in Japan yesterday, Viva thought that's what this thread was referencing.
